Softball Game
Absolutely LOVED the softball video. What a great clip to show sportsmanship and character.
My quote, "Take pride in who you are, but more importantly in what you DO! This is the true measure of character."

Success with my mission statement.
This week my brother stopped over while my husband and I were working in the yard to prepare for our out of town company. I actually stopped and smelled the roses by going on a pontoon ride. We saw an eagle in the tree and enjoyed my brother's company. The next day our company arrived, and we had a GREAT time even though our yard wasn't groomed! YEA for me!!
Family Traditions
My Mom and Dad made sure that each of my siblings and myself had a memorable birthday party until we left home. Now that we are adults I continue the birthday party traditions, where my siblings and their families gather at my home to celebrate a sibling's birthday! It gives us an opportunity to enjoy each others' company, besides the usual holidays.
Challenges
Making time for myself is still a challenge in living my life mission statement. Before I go for a walk, I think I need to finish errands ,laundry, house work, and any other family needs. I just need to schedule a regular time for my walk! I know I need to come first, I just need to reprogram my thinking!
AHHA Moment
AHHA Moment: Yesterday a group of mothers were having a serious discussion regarding school. I wasn't sure what the topic was about, but they were not happy! As I walked passed them I said "HELLO" and then I said to myself " It's none of my buisness what they think of me". IT REALLY WORKED!! I wasn't stressed out over their conversation. "My life is too blessed to be stressed!"

I watched some of these videos but could not get the volume turned up, so I will comment on the pictures and tips to live by. All were great, but one stood out for me. It said something like. . . . "if we all threw our problems in a pile, you might want yours back." It reminds me that many times, my problems are not real problems, and I have to keep putting these "problems" in the right perspective with the right attitude. With the start of school, all the changes and turmoil surrounding our jobs, we need to stay focused on what is really important, the children, because, like another quote in the video . . . they only get one childhood.
Have a great day,
Joanne
