I like the quote . . . "Don't compare your life to others, you have no idea what their journey is like." I think this applies to kids as well as adults. We sometimes think we are the same, and so we become critical of each other. This quote reminds us that we are all very different, not only due to genetics, but also environmental factors. It reminds me of a saying about . . you don't really know how a persons feels until you've walked a mile in their shoes.
My favorite quote is " No one is in charge of your happiness except you." Happiness needs to come from within. It's not just about people, places, and things. It's about relationships and actions. I know that often I get stressed about preparations for upcoming deadlines, events, and even family holidays. I need to remember to enjoy the journey not just focus on the destination.
Another great motivating video! "NO one is in charge of your happiness except you!" That one reminds me of my past and someone that was very close to me looked to me for his happiness and in fact told me that is was my job to make him happy...WOW!! I would love to shoot this video to him! I am happy and I make a difference!! Life is a journey so enjoy the ride!!

Spend more time w/ people over 70 & under 6.....so many times last week I thought about my boy and how I should choose their perspective on the day.
